“Tedra shares her love for yoga and finding peace in everything we do in our lives. After each class, I come away with a sense of inner peace and relaxation for my mind and body. Tedra is able to guide you through her flow class with clarity so you can modify as needed in each pose. One of the BEST yoga teachers in Syracuse!” ~ Kim R.

“Reflecting thoughts of my yoga instructor, Tedra Needle:

I am an 85-year-old Asian woman with a history of fractures of the cervical bone and have difficulty with walking, balance, and other simple body movements from daily activities. I have had physical therapy for three months at Upstate Medical Rehab Center where they gave me balancing exercises with climbing steps, focused walking on a path, moving upper body while holding a ball and other repetitive arm and leg exercises.

Receiving private yoga lessons as a beginner, Tedra listened to my physiological concerns and her explanation for the holistic approach of yoga toward my wellness and healing was very encouraging and inspiring.  Gradually she introduced me to specific and gentle poses with clear instructions, which motivated me to anchor in the pose and feel my body and breath.

I appreciate her calm and warm attention whenever I have questions or need encouragement.  While in the poses, she encourages me to process within my body and mind where I can feel “safe and relax” and I hear her voice of reassurance saying “Beautiful.”

At my aging passage of mind/body/spirit, I never have imagined that participating in yoga is not only good for health but also light up my heart as a simple joy of ordinary living here and now!She loves teaching yoga and I believe her passion for sharing her authenticity of yoga suture would shine in a corner of many participants’ hearts, minds, bodies, and spirits.” ~ M.
